The team (from left to right): Wyatt Smith, George Huang,
Mike Juthacharoenwong, and Iskender Kushan |
Wyatt Smith is a first-year master's student in Mechanical Engineering. He's interested primarily in sustainable systems, mechanical design, space exploration, and manufacturing, and hopes to pursue their confluence by developing closed-loop life support systems and automated indoor agriculture. He spends his free time building things, backpacking, climbing, and arguing with friends about a diverse range of topics.
George Huang or Huajian Huang or George is a Master's student in mechanical engineering. He is absolutely a control and mechatronics enthusiast, but hidden under his engineering life, he loves to play the piano as well as basketball (and make cringes).
Supanath (Mike) Juthacharoenwong is a second-year master's student in the Electrical Engineering department. Although his name is very long, which is typical for a person from Thailand, he also simply goes by “Mike”. Even if he is a EE student, Mike’s concentration is in communication, which is pretty different from Iskender... who is a Circuit God and can bring about any circuit known to man in an instant. Mike enjoys programming a lot and is now in love with Hierarchical State machines.
Iskender "I love the smell of burnt tantalum in the morning" Kushan is a Master's student in EE, focusing on embedded systems development. Iskender loves working on PCB designs and RF systems. He is excited about consumer electronics, and space systems development. He loves flying high altitude balloons, and drinking lots and lots of tea. He can be seen in SPDL covered by a cloud of solder fumes, pondering why the circuit he spent hours assembling does not work.
